Pittsburgh PA: The Syria Mosque located in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. Constructed in 1912, it was designed by Huehl, Schmidt & Holmes architectural firm of Chicago. Syria Mosque was torn down in August 1991, and the site is now a parking lot.
