1965-American Cancer Society Benefit.jpg
Pittsburgh PA: Jim Daniell of Daniell, Sapp, and Boorn with other volunteers at the American Cancer Society Benefit at the new Allegheny Center Mall on the North Side of Pittsburgh. Mr. Daniell was not politically correct for the shot, he is holding a cigarette! Was cropped out in the final print. The Daniell, Sapp, and Boorn agency put on the event to benefit the American Cancer Society and the new Allegheny Center Mall. The mall recently opened and extra publicity is always a good thing. Daniell Sapp and Boorn which opened in 1962, was active in helping good causes which indirectly promoted their insurance services. During the 1950's and 1960s local corporations and companies were very active in supporting non-profit and charitable organizations.
