Pittsburgh PA:  View of the new Gulf Building and construction of the Post Office Federal Courts building.  Construction started in 1930 and completed in 1932. The building has 44 floors and was the largest building in Pittsburgh until 1970.<br />

The Post office and Federal Courts building was built over the PA Railroad track so that they didn't need to transport the mail to the station.  Construction started in 1931 but due to a strike, was not completed until the fall of 1934.
