The defense recovered 5 fumbles but the offense was not able to score against the Mt Lebanon Defense. After a highly disputed non-TD call by Art Walker's brother-in-law, the undefeated Mt Lebanon Blue Devils ended up winning the Western Conference. The defensive unit was one of the best in Bethel Park history only allowing a little over 7 points a game.
