Pittsburgh PA:  Bob Prince, legendary announcer for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pirate slugger Willie Stargell visiting "Good Willie" and other workers at the Goodwill Industries site in the strip district of Pittsburgh.  The Pittsburgh Pirates were great supporters of local charities during this time due to the tireless efforts of Bob Prince.<br />
When his schedule permitted, he helped the Allegheny Valley School, United Way chapters, Goodwill Industries and other worthy causes.<br />
In 1966, Goodwill Industries was part of the United Fund Community Chest Agency which eventually became the United Way of Allegheny County in 1974. Goodwill Industries provides a broad array of employment-related education and workforce development programs and services for people with physical and intellectual disabilities and other barriers to employment.
